Our field of research is material engineering in bio-informatics, in which we are especially interested in hybrid materials consisting of bio-related and synthetic substances. The major purpose of the research is to apply the hybrid materials having biological functions to practical devices, such as biosensors and biofuel cells. The research is based on polymer chemistry, synthetic chemistry, biochemistry, electronics, and bio-electronics.
