All participants are expected to book hotels by themselves.

Hotel "Rivoli, Hotel Espoo" is located in a walking distance (300m) from the conference site "Helsinki University of Technology". The prices of the conference are 465FM single and 580FM double room (per day). The prize level for us is thus 85USD single and 105USD for double room and means 30%/20% discount from the normal prizes in August of that hotel. Rates include breakfast, morning sauna, svimming and vat.

We have a preliminary reservation for 50 rooms in hotel "Rivoli, Hotel Espoo". This reservation is valid until the 15 June, 1998. Please make your bookings before that date. The sign ECHOIII should be mentioned when communicating.

It is possible to book hotels from downtown as is customary.

There are several first-class and moderate prize downtown hotels in Helsinki which are few steps from the Finnair City Terminal, Railway Station, and Bus Station. Room rates (summer time): Single rooms 80-100 USD/night and double rooms from 90-120 USD/night. Such hotels are:

Transportation

From the airport to the Finnair City Terminal: Finnair buses every 20 min (30 min. ride). The terminal is located in the immediate neighbourhood of the Railway Station and Bus Station.
